Attractions
Daedalus D-Day 80 is an event for the 80th D-Day Anniversary Celebrations happening over the 8-9 June on the historic former WWII airfield HMS Daedalus, Lee on the Solent, Hampshire.
A family event for all to enjoy with a living history area for re-enactors to attend for the public to come, see and learn about WWII military equipment, services and its history, there will also be Static Aircraft, Flying Display with part portraying the history of the airfield including a Parachute Drop, Music, Field Gun Runs, Marching Bands, Funfair, Motorcycles Stunts, Period Vehicles and an Emporium. Each day will feature slightly different with its attractions.
Flying Display
Come and see aircraft in the air on both days as we provide a thrilling flying display with aircraft portraying the history of HMS Daedalus to D-Day. The flying display starts at 12:00 on each day. These aircraft will also be on static display together with other aircraft arriving on each day.
